Four Advocates at Indianapolis Stop of ADA at 25 Legacy Tour

This photograph shows ADA advocates Suellen Jackson-Boner, Christine Dahlberg, Greg Meyer, and Ric Edwards (in front) at Monument Circle, Indianapolis on June 18, 2015. The ADA at 25 Legacy Tour bus is shown in the background. At the time, Edwards was vice-chair, and Meyer a member, of the ADA-Indiana Steering Committee. Jackson-Boner had recently announced her retirement as executive director of the Indiana Governor's Council for People with Disabilities (GCPD), with GCPD deputy director Dahlberg to serve as the agency's interim director.

The ADA Legacy Bus visited Indianapolis as part of a national Road to Freedom Tour aimed at raising awareness and excitement about the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The bus was driven by veteran disability rights photographer Tom Olin, and included disability history displays inside the vehicle.
